Sublime

Founded in Long Beach in 1988, Sublime pioneered a unique blend of ska, punk rock, reggae, and hip-hop. The original lineup featured vocalist/guitarist Bradley Nowell, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Bud Gaugh. Major Success: Their 1996 self-titled album became a massive hit with singles like "What I Got," "Santeria," and "Wrong Way," though it was released posthumously following Bradley Nowell's death. Recent Reunion: In 2024, the surviving members reunited with Nowell's son, Jakob Nowell, taking over as frontman. New Music: The band has announced their first new studio album in 30 years, titled Until the Sun Explodes, scheduled for release on June 12, 2026.
